India is celebrating this Independence Day by hoisting the national flag in every house.India got independence on this day in 1947.
Why this celebration?
Celebrating Independence Day at home is a very good decision. Moreover, even if India is called a developed country, it is not wrong to say that India is also among the top developed countries. So all the citizens are not well aware of India's independence. In this way the next generation will know about it well every year.
Besides, by this the Prime Minister of India wants to understand that the days will come especially after 23-24 when India will celebrate 100th Independence Day those days are very auspicious for India.
What's new this year?
This year Indipendence day will be celebrated from 13th August to 15th August.
Earlier, this Independence Day was only centered on schools,hospitals etc.But now this celebration is going from house to house.
This celebration is named "Har Ghar Tiranga".
